The Hospitium in York will more than meet the needs of every wedding photographer. Set in the beautiful Museum Gardens and overlooked by the striking ruins of St Mary's Abbey, The Hospitium is just a stone's throw from York's river where, if the conditions are right, you can capture a stunning sunset. You then step inside and are greeted by beautiful stone brickwork and wooden beams and you are in photographer's heaven!
Ok, so I'm perhaps being a little over the top there, but The Hospitium really is a very handsome venue, which is perfect for a very handsome couple like Noah and Nadhia. These guys were a lot of fun to be with and I knew that after the way in which they threw themselves into the pre-wedding shoot (despite the constant heavy rain!), we were going to have a great day.
Fortunately, the weather was much kinder to us for their wedding day and we managed to make the most of our surroundings, including a few creative shots in front of the ruins using off-camera flash before the party really got started (I hear it went on most of the night and carried on in York's bars until the wee hours!). Here are a selection of my favs from the day...
A truly international wedding with guests flying in from most continents to celebrate Vicky and Simon’s gorgeous wedding at The Hospitium in the beautiful surroundings of York Museum Gardens
