I always seem to get lucky with the weather when it comes to my early pre-wedding dawn shoots in York. This is my fourth shoot with a couple around the historic streets of York at ridiculous o'clock and every time I have been blessed with the perfect weather conditions, making the early starts seem worth it!
There is a reason for asking couples to meet me at the start of the day (as opposed to the end of the day when I usually do my pre-wedding shoots), which is so that we get the usually congested alleyways and city walls of York's touristy haunts to ourselves, which is magic! What is also magic is working with this pair, the very lovely Helen and Ollie. A really sweet couple who were so relaxed and easy in each others company, which makes my job a doddle. I can't wait to shoot their wedding at Sandburn Hall in August.
Alli and Richard are getting married at the very beautiful Sandburn Hall near York this weekend and I met up with them recently just around the corner from where they live at Roundhay Park in Leeds for their pre-wedding shoot.
